  1. thats an awesome video dad!! I was there and the pictures don’t do it justice – it was bad. You were brought back and healed from the brink. Love you daddy! Keep on keepin’ on!

    Love Laur

    • Yeah, I know it was tough on a lot of people, especially family. Thanks honey for all your prayers and for being there for mom. Love you too!

  2. That was the scariest time of my life. And it wasn’t even happening to me! Love you dad. Strongest man I know.

    • Sorry my son. I didn’t mean to freak you out. I’ll try to avoid doing it again. Come back to the good ol’ USA soon. Love you too. :^)

  3. Very touching. Wish it was longer. Simply amazing. Watched it over and over.
    love ya

    • I think you remember that ICU situation better then I do! Love you too.

  4. Honey, I love you so much. God brought us through, didn’t He? As Laurie said, ” Keep on keepin’ on” love, Denise

    • You’re cute, Lolly. Somehow, (by God’s grace I’m sure) I keep getting up off the ground and plodding forward after I get knocked on my ying-yang. Been doing it for 30 years. I could be discouraged after all this time, (judging from the impact it appears I’m having on people) but somehow I can’t seem to stop preaching the good news. I’ve tried, you know. I’ll bet your prayers and faithfulness to follow me around have everything to do with it! Thanks for being my main source of strength and encouragement all these years. I’ve wanted to give up, but you wouldn’t let me. You’ve always said I was your favorite preacher and you’ve always believed in what God has called me to do. Priceless… Love you Loo.

  5. I am 76 years old and have just been through 14 months of cancer treatment. And I truly believe that God gives us the load we are able to carry that day. I always heard people say I will pray for you. And now I am a firm believer in the power of prayer And as I took this journey through life I felt every prayer that was sent my way. I saw so many people suffering through this disease and my prayers go out to each of them. And I read the comments to you from your family and think how wonderful it is to have our family beside us all the way. It sure makes you feel the love. I love your web site. Thank you for sharing. Sue.

    • Bless your heart and thank you for sharing with me. God truly does carry us doesn’t He? I hope and pray all will continue to go well for both of us. Please stay in touch! Godspeed!

  6. As I sit here after seeing this video, alls I can do is cry. I have seen Mac in this same condition numerous times and Coded many of them times, God has always and I mean always been faithful to pull him through all the tough times.. Oh shoot all of them were tough times, others just tougher then some. God is awesome and obviously isnt finshed with YOU or Mac yet. I love your preaching and I would come listen to you if I could get away. I miss church and Bible study and will never forget the night you prayed for Betsy at the exact time she was giving birth to Shanna.. She was your baby just as much as ours. That is why I picked you and Denise to be her sponsers. With no regrets. Let the Love that you have for life and your family shine on.. Jesus the Miracle worker is at work in you… Muah!!!

    • Gosh Marilyn…THANKS! That is very sweet. :^)

  7. Hi Grandpa! I LOVED the video!! I’m so happy to see you with a new kidney! I’m so glad you aren’t suffering anymore! PRAISE GOD! HALLELUGIAH!!!! :)

      Grandpa Rich

  • For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

    II Corinthians 10:3-6
